At Shikshyaly, our endeavour is to pick the children who have got trapped into begging, garbage picking, intoxication due to economic/social/situational handicap and lead them into the mainstream of society by enabling them education, skills and a positive environment free of cost. Shikshyaly is motivated by the belief that every child deserves a chance to break free from poverty and a chance to become asset to the society. Established in November 2017, Shikshyaly is dedicated towards creating a positive impact on the socially marginalised individuals which is essentially required for any healthy society. It all started with a vision sparked by compassion and the heartfelt desire to make a difference in the lives of those in need, when our guardian @सर जी , witnessed the heart-breaking sight of children begging on the streets, their eyes filled with hardship and vulnerability.… With the support of considerate and compassionate persons from the society, Shikshyaly has continued its journey and successfully changed the life of 50 children from slums who were missing a purposeful life. Few children who have grown with Shikshyaly are now working with reputed companies and are independent responsible citizens. The journey is challenging and long, but the impact we have witnessed in the lives of those growing with us continue to motivate the Shikshyaly team to do even more. Together we can inspire growth, uplift communities, and enrich lives, one step at a time. Our Interventions
Computer Education:
Computer education from 6th to 12th class. Also Mothers and other girls who have passed 12th. Quite a few of them are working with good companies. Based on their interest, advance education in Video shooting, editing, website design.
Facilitating Education:
Facilitate Regular School attendance – School admission, eRikshaw from Home to School, Fee, Books, uniform, stationery etc.
Stay at SHIKSHYALY after school hours till evening: food, curriculum tuition, skill development.
Skill Development:
Facilitate development of skills like singing, dancing, painting by providing classes and towards financial self-dependence.
Communication Skills:
Written, Verbal, Body language, public speaking, how to express in one-to-one discussion. This done thru Essay writing, drama, platform for public speaking etc
Personality Development:
Confidence building, Discipline, Self-reliance. Getting rid of Fear of Language, Fear of stage etc.
Health Care:
Essential for overall development. Preventive Health checkup. Free treatment if needed. Doctor visits daily.

What is the source of funding for Shikshyaly?

We collaborate with responsible and compassionate corporate partners who share our vision of promoting quality education and making a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children. Together, we are transforming lives and building a better tomorrow.
What is the mission of Shikshyaly?
- It is our endeavor to bring the children who are economically handicapped, begging, picking garbage, intoxicated in the mainstream of the society and inculcating education and culture in them and build a beautiful society. The society will become beautiful only when the children of laborers who build beautiful houses, shops and gardens will be educated.

Which age group does Shikshyaly cater to?
- Shikshyaly is committed to providing educational support, skill development and opportunities to a diverse age group, spanning from 1 to 20 years. We believe in inclusive education and recognize the importance of addressing the needs of children and youth at different stages of their development. From humble beginnings with just 1 room, we have expanded significantly, and today, we are delighted to announce that we have 2 fully functional and well-equipped flats. This expansion has allowed us to accommodate a wider age group and offer enhanced educational support and skill development opportunities.
Currently, we are fortunate to have a team of 9 dedicated and passionate teachers who are the heart and soul of our institution. Their commitment to providing quality education and fostering holistic development in our students is commendable.
How will I get a tax exemption certificate for my donation?
- We will send across your donation receipt either by email or on your address this receipt is eligible for tax exemption and can be shared with the Income Tax (contact us ) with the updated details.
Are my online donation transactions secure?
-Absolutely. We have stringent security measures in place to ensure that critically sensitive information, such as your personal information and your credit/debit card details, are protected.
Are donations to Shikshyaly tax exempted?
– Yes – all donations to Shikshyaly are 50% exempt from tax under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Tax exemption is valid only in India.
